The Dunes d’Or is a pair of ridged crescent earrings in 18k gold-plated stainless steel textured with graduated, concentric waves across their surface. The ridges fracture light into alternating highlights and honeyed shadows, giving the bold shape a lively, crinkled brilliance as the head moves. A hollow interior keeps the volumetric design light on the ear. The dune-like texture makes them a sculptural alternative to plain hoops. Mckella produces them in waterproof, tarnish-resistant 18k gold-plated stainless steel that is hypoallergenic on sensitive ears.
